The enchanting province of Ogliastra, with the most suggestive coasts and beaches in the world, extends along the eastern side of Sardinia. The Tyrrhenian Sea and the peaks of the Gennargentu frame a still uncontaminated land where natural monuments, paradisiacal beaches and ancient archaeological sites merge. Among the most beautiful beaches to visit are those of the Gulf of Orosei including Cala Goloritze (Unesco heritage), Cala Luna and Cala Mariolu. Within the province, one cannot fail to mention the beaches of Cea (Tortolì), Su Sirboni (Gairo), Il Golfetto (Lido di Orrì), Sa Perda e ‘Pera and Museddu (Marina di Cardedu).
